Ree Drummond and Husband Ladd Are Proud of Their Kids! Meet the ‘Pioneer Woman’ Star’s Family

Alex Drummond

Ree and Ladd’s first child was born on June 25, 1997. Alex, who works with her mom on her Pioneer Woman brand, received her degree from Texas A&M University.

At the time of her graduation in May 2018, the blonde beauty gushed over her impressive education. “In awe! Texas A&M University, you have been the sweetest gift and gave me the most unimaginably amazing four years,” Alex captioned a photo of herself wearing a cap and gown via Instagram. “I’m a college GRAD.”

After Alex graduated from college, Ree joked she wished she gave her daughter a cooking lesson before shipping her off to school. “If I were a good mother, I would’ve done that!” she teased with Us Weekly in February 2020. “Alex did not like to cook at all.”

In addition to asking her mom for cooking tips and tricks, Alex will also be going to Ree for marriage advice. In August 2020, Ree announced her daughter’s engagement on Instagram, writing, “These two are gonna have so much fun together. We love you, Alex and Mauricio!”

Less than a year Mauricio asked for Alex’s hand in marriage, Ree revealed the two tied the knot in May 2021. The proud mama uploaded a pic of the bride and groom surrounded by their family as they said “I do” on the Drummond family farm in Oklahoma.

“Alex and Mauricio’s wedding was beyond,” she penned alongside several Heart Eyes emojis. “I will be sharing many (many many!) photos soon … but I couldn’t wait to post one of my very favorites. All the siblings together … and Mauricio makes six!”

In December 2024, Alex gave birth to her first child with Mauricio, a daughter named Sofia.

“My heart is exploding with happiness, so I couldn’t wait to share the news with you that Alex and Mauricio’s baby girl, Sofia, was born early this morning! My daughter just had a daughter. I’m honestly still trying to wrap my head (and heart) around it all,” Ree announced on her website after becoming a grandma.

Paige Drummond

Born on October 31, 1999, Ree and Ladd’s second oldest daughter is just as busy as her big sister. Paige graduated from the University of Arkansas in May 2022. After college, Paige ended up quitting her corporate job in Dallas and moved back to the family’s Oklahoma ranch to work on the property full-time.

“Turns out that spending every day in an office can be tough for someone who grew up in wide, open spaces,” Ree said.

Aside from giving fans glimpses into her own life, Paige often makes appearances on her mom’s social media accounts. In March 2020, Ree uploaded the cutest TikTok video dancing in the kitchen with Paige.

In August 2024, Paige got engaged to David Andersen. They got married at the Drummond ranch in May 2025.

Bryce Drummond

Like his other siblings, the oldest Drummond boy, Bryce — who arrived on September 17, 2002 — has also appeared on The Pioneer Woman. When he’s not on the ranch with his mom and dad, it seems like Bryce is all about his pals and football. He played the sport on the Pawhuska High School team before going off to college in January 2021.

According to his mom’s Instagram, Bryce attends the University of North Texas and was “recruited to play quarterback” for their football team. At the time Ree and Ladd dropped Bryce off at college, the author shared a touching tribute for her talented son.

“He worked hard to graduate from high school early so he could get down here and participate in spring practice with his new team,” she wrote via Instagram. “Alex and Mauricio live in Dallas, so they helped us move the big guy into his dorm room, then we all went out to eat enchiladas and burritos for dinner.”

It sounds like Bryce may have a future in football!

Todd Drummond

The youngest of the bunch is Todd, who was born in 2004. He was just 7 years old when The Pioneer Woman first aired on Food Network. Todd currently plays football at the University of South Dakota.

Jamar Goff

Jamar came into the Drummond family’s life when Ree’s husband, Ladd, “met him a couple of times during high school football practice” one summer. The teen, who had transferred from the Tulsa area just “a few months before,” also became friends with her sons, Bryce and Todd, through their mutual love of sports.

Although fostering was “never something” Ree and Ladd ever “pursued or felt called to do,” inviting Jamar into their home was “entirely situational,” she explained. “Jamar’s circumstances presented themselves to us in a way we couldn’t ignore — so, long story short, all six-foot-five-inches of him showed up at our house one afternoon, bag in hand, ready to move in.”

Since he’s joined their loving clan, Jamar has had no issues about getting along with his new siblings. Aside from the usual “chaos and disruption” of having more “adolescent males” in their home, Ree said her boys have created quite the brotherly bond.

“This summer, Bryce and Jamar started fishing together, which always helps bring young men together,” she wrote. “Fishing was all Jamar’s idea. It turned out that fishing completely transformed Bryce’s free time over the summer, and I was so appreciative that I decided I wanted to get Jamar some new fishing gear to thank him for helping Bryce — and all their friends, who slowly started joining the fishing gang.”

On top of fishing, the photographer said Jamar is “a kid with aspirations to [have] a football career” one day. It seems that dream may be coming true as Ree revealed Jamar “officially signed” to play college football. The proud foster mama revealed Jamar would be attending college and playing football at the University of Central Oklahoma.

“I’m so proud of him and so grateful for his friends, coaches and community for supporting him in countless ways,” she wrote alongside pics of the two during a visit to the campus. “And I’m grateful for Jamar himself — his hard work, his commitment and his presence in our family.” How amazing!
