Reese Witherspoon’s Daughter Ava Phillippe to Make Her Debutante Debut
Big things are coming for Reese Witherspoon‘s daughter, Ava Phillippe! The 18-year-old celeb kid is set to make her official debut as a debutante on Saturday, Nov. 25, Vanity Fair confirmed.
Reese’s lookalike will make the debut later this fall at the le Bal des Débutantes at the Peninsula Paris hotel in Paris and will be one of six American debutantes (there are a total of 20). The news outlet says she will be wearing Giambattista Valli Haute Couture to the ball. Other debutantes from le Bal (which was founded in 1992 by Ophélie Renouard) include Robert Kennedy Jr.’s daughter Kyra, Larry David’s daughter Romy, and Italian model and princess Mathilde Melusine Ruspoli.
She will be escorted by polo player Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipurt from India, who earned that title back in 2011 when he was only 13 years old! We’re dying to know if Reese and Ava’s dad, Ryan Phillippe, will attend the very special event with her. We’re assuming yes!
Lately, Ava has been making public appearances with her famous mom, but she’s most known for her prominence on Instagram. After her mom won an Emmy for her role in Big Little Lies in September, she took to the social media platform to express how excited she was for her. “I am so proud of how hard my mama has worked to showcase the stories and talents of strong women like herself, and I am so happy she’s been officially recognized for it,” she wrote at the time.
And the support goes both ways. Reese is loving watching her “twin” daughter grow up. “I do see the resemblance. She’s a beautiful person inside and out. She’s just a good soul. I’m not sure what she thinks. I’m just ‘Mom’ to her,” she once said. “I really have a rich, personal relationship with my daughter. I have a really great career, and it’s nice to be able to share it with my kids.”
