Sandra Bullock Is Reportedly Leaning On Friend Jennifer Aniston After Losing Her Dad And Two Dogs

After a tough few months, Sandra Bullock is reportedly leaning on her close friend Jennifer Aniston for support. According to a new report, Jen, 49, has been the 54-year-old actress’ “shoulder to cry on” after Sandra recently lost her beloved father, John W. Bullock, and her two dogs, Poppy and Ruby.

“Sandra has been having a really hard time lately and is still grieving. Jen’s doing her best to be there for her,” a source told OK! in the magazine’s latest issue, on newsstands now. “Jen has been Sandra’s shoulder to cry on during these difficult weeks. They’ve sat up many nights sipping wine and commiserating.”

Jennifer has sadly experienced her own losses in recent years. Her mom, Nancy Dow, passed away in 2016 and she mourned the death of her dog Norman back in 2011. “Sandra’s always been the strong one in her family, but this has knocked her down. There are days she doesn’t want to get out of bed, but she does, because Jen tells her to. Jen really has been there for her,” the insider explained.

And Sandra couldn’t be more grateful to have her friend’s love during this difficult time. “Sandra’s never really had a close female confidante before, besides her sister. She appreciates having one now,” the source said of her relationship with Jennifer.

Just a few weeks ago, Sandra publicly admitted she was having a “crappy few weeks” after losing both her dad and pets. “It’s been a crappy few weeks. My dad died, both of my dogs died. You turn on the television or computer and it’s endless tragedies and it seems like more than ever now if you have a vagina, you have to be a fighter as well. So I don’t feel nice,” she said during a speech in mid-October.

In addition to having Jennifer’s support, Us Weekly also recently reported that Sandra’s boyfriend, Bryan Randall, has been her “rock” after her father died. “[Bryan] has been a constant source of support… Bryan makes her feel safe and completely takes care of her. [He’s her] rock. It’s a sad time. Sandy is surrounded by Bryan, the kids, and her family,” a source told the magazine.
