Sarah was joined by her husband and her daughters at the April 2025 Broadway opening of Smash. The girls totally inherited their mom’s sense of style, opting for very chic looks for the night out in the Big Apple. Tabitha wore an emerald green gown with a blue coat, while Marion wore a green dress with a lace overlay and a cream-colored coat.

James is just as tall as his dad! The youngster posed for a photo with his pop while attending a gathering with his family. The eldest Broderick child doesn’t typically share too many photos on his Instagram account, but this glimpse into his bond with his dad is so heartwarming!

James looked all grown up in a black suit. His sisters looked stylish in black and pink dresses with soft curls in their hair.

Happy Birthday, JW!

Wishing James (AKA JW) a happy 19th birthday in October 2021, Sarah said that although he was away “in his studies” she said that she was hoping “every birthday wish to come true.”

Mama’s Scholars

While sending her three kids back to school for the fall 2021 year in September, the Failure to Launch alum took to Instagram to commemorate the big day. Sharing a rare post of James, Tabitha and Loretta, Sarah’s kiddos looked so big as they headed off to school. This year is a little different for the actress, though, as her eldest “crosses the threshold into his freshman year of college.”

“The other two into 7th grade,” Sarah continued in her caption, expressing her mix of emotions. “The house is different. We are different. They need us more. And far less. So many know. Gutted at the time passed. Passing. Exhilarated by the possibilities that await them. The love. The love. The love.”

Leaving the Nest

The shoe designer penned a lovely tribute for her son ahead of headed “into the sunset of his high school career.” Alongside a photo of her young man pictured walking ahead of herself, Sarah said she couldn’t believe her eldest child was graduating and going off to college.

“It’s a milestone. Not fully understood til it’s on your doorstep. And til they cross the threshold into their next mostly mysterious chapter,” she wrote. “Just like all the other chapters that are part of the epic novel that is the story of child and parent. We, all of us Parker-Brodericks are proud, weepy and so looking forward to celebrating your coming graduation. Enjoy this beautiful day, you have earned it. We love you so dear son and brother.”

Sarah uploaded the cutest throwback photos in honor of her “beloved” son James’ 18th birthday in late October 2020. In this pic, the loving mama held her little tot in her arms as she stared into his big beautiful eyes.

She also shared a sweet birthday tribute, writing, “I marvel at the passing of those years, but equally the young man you are becoming. My love for you is an ache and an honor.”

School Time

Sarah uploaded a pic of Tabitha heading off to her first day of fourth grade in 2018. “Small but mighty, her knapsack prepared days ago, she take long strides toward a whole new year awaiting you, Tabitha,” she wrote.
