Savannah Guthrie Shares Sweet Behind-the-Scenes Moments With Her Kids on ‘Today’
All in the family! Savannah Guthrie was beaming with pride when her children stopped by the set of the Today show in New York City.
“The best. Savannah’s kids visited studio 1A today to meet a very special guest,” read the caption of her heartwarming Instagram post featuring their special behind-the-scenes moments on Wednesday, February 12.
Her little ones Vale, 10, and Charles “Charley” Max, 8, were all smiles while showing off their team spirit and getting to meet one of their favorite players, Philadelphia Eagles’ quarterback Jalen Hurts, after the team’s 40-22 victory in the 2025 Super Bowl.
“That feeling when your kids run over to you for a big hug,” the message featured on the clip stated. In the video, Vale was sweetly jumping up and down with excitement.
Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, who hails from Philadelphia, even joined his family for a photo with the Vince Lombardi trophy-winning athlete in a separate post. “‘Best morning ever.’ #JalenHurts,” the video’s caption stated as the Eagles’ famous fight song played in the background.
The Guthrie brood are known for being fans of the team and were even rooting them on during the 2023 NFC Championship against the San Francisco 49ers.
Savannah’s kids have also enjoyed the perks of getting to meet other sports stars known for being the greatest at their game.
They previously visited Studio 1A and snapped a pic with sports superstars Steph Curry and Roger Federer. Plus, Charley even got to meet none other than LeBron James. Of course, Vale was also living her best life when she got to tag along for the Meghan Trainor Citi Concert performance.

Savannah, 53, and Michael, 56, have been married since 2014 and welcomed their first child in August 2014. They expanded their family again in December 2016 with the arrival of their son.
The lovebirds first crossed paths in October 2008 when Savannah attended his 40th birthday party with a mutual friend after splitting from her first husband, Mark Orchard. She and Mark divorced in 2009.
Savannah and Michael started building their brood later in life and revealed they were not sure if having kids would be in the cards for them. She was 43 and he was 46 when they had their first child together.
“I always wanted to be a mom, and it took us so long to get married — we dated for so long — that we thought maybe it was too late and we’d lost our chance,” she told People about their journey to parenthood. “When we found out we were pregnant, I don’t think there were two happier people on this planet.”
“I definitely have a good head on my shoulders, I am able to prioritize, and I think there’s a luxury to feel calm enough and not to feel the same pressures as in your 20s and 30s, when you are really trying to make your career happen,” she shared with the outlet. “Now, I can really take my time and enjoy our kids,” Savannah proudly added, noting, “We feel so lucky to have each other.”
