What?!Hopper Jack Penn Reveals His Dad Sean Penn Wanted to Name Him “Steak”
Hopper Jack Penn already has a very unique name — but his famous dad, Sean Penn, originally wanted to give him an even crazier moniker!
“My dad wanted to name me Steak, the food, because he loves it so much,” the 22-year-old actor revealed in a new interview.

“But my mom, [Robin Wright], was never going to go for it. What they told me is that I hopped in her stomach, I didn’t kick, so they went with that,” Hopper told Interview magazine.

Sean, 55, and Robin, 50 — who were previously married from 1996 until 2010 — welcomed son Hopper in August 1993. The couple are also parents to a 25-year-old daughter, Dylan Frances Penn.
