Nicholas Colasanto (Coach Ernie Pantusso)

After Cheers, Nicholas directed two episodes of Columbo and several episodes of the short-lived series Nakia. He also starred in movies Fat City and Family Plot. His last major film role was in 1980's Raging Bull. His final episode of Cheers was in 1984, just three months before he passed away from a heart attack at age 61 in 1985.
