'Shark Tank' Star Daymond John is Engaged - Closer Weekly

Just months after Daymond John welcomed his third child, the Shark Tank star has another huge reason to celebrate!

The 47-year-old mogul is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, Heather, he confirmed to Us Weekly on Friday, Sept. 23. Daymond popped the question to Heather with a 9.5-carat emerald-cut diamond ring during a Shark Tank taping earlier this week, he revealed.

Recent events in Orlando, Istanbul, Baton Rouge, Minnesota and Dallas have reminded us all of how fragile and precious life truly is. I've been blessed with 3 beautiful daughters. I took this weekend to squeeze in some quality time with the latest addition to our family, Baby Minka. I asked Minka to take a selfie with Daddy, but since she has never been seen by the public, she was hesitant to take the pic. However, after daddy sang "the wheels on the bus go round and round" 7 times to her, she was ready to rock! Here is Minka's first official selfie and post to the public. It truly hurts me to know that so many people will lose the opportunity of doing what I'm doing right now. My heart goes out to all those that will never be able to spend time with the ones they love due to hate. Together, we must find a way to stop it! "[She] choked up… but she said yes pretty quickly!” Daymond added. The CEO and founder of clothing and hip hop apparel company FUBU — who is worth an estimated $300 million — and Heather welcomed their first child together, daughter Minka, 6 months, last March. The TV star is additionally a dad to two older daughters, Yasmeen and Destiny.
