Susan Lucci Says She Got “Lucky” With Chef Husband Helmut Huber (EXCLUSIVE)
They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but the same can be said about Susan Lucci, whose husband, Helmut Huber, is a European-trained chef. In a recent exclusive interview with Closer Weekly, Susan revealed their romance is still going strong after 48 years.
"I’ve learned to be a foodie just by being with him. We love trying new restaurants together," the All My Children star, 71, told Closer at the ADAPT Leadership Awards Gala on March 8.
Helmut, 80, has wisely made his wife’s favorite meal — spaghetti and meatballs — one of his specialties at home. "I married a man who’s very smart, very sure of himself and very funny. For me, the dynamic just worked," Susan said of the recipe to their 48 years of wedded bliss. "I got lucky!"
