As we approach the 45th anniversary of the monumental Apollo 11 expedition, which saw the first humans walk on the moon, Buzz Aldrin shared a picture of the crew — including Neil Armstrong and Michael Collins — meeting with President Richard Nixon upon their return.
Buzz, who is now 84, explained that as a way of honoring the trio for their service to the United States, every U.S. president has met with the astronauts since 1969.
