‘Tracker’ Midseason Premiere Photos Tease What’s to Come in Season 2 and Which Character Is in Trouble

Finding Leads

At the end of a midseason finale, Colter received a new lead in the case of Gina Picket after interrogating a man named Alex who knew Gina when they were kids. It looks like he means business in this new photo from the midseason premiere.

Piecing Together the Puzzle

Colter was getting even closer to piecing together the puzzle and nailing down Frank Whales’ involvement in the case. Expect that hunger to continue immediately into the second half of the season.

Who Is the Teacher?

In the last episode, Colter was pointed to someone called the Teacher.

“We got into something. Wasn’t our fault, heavy stuff — we didn’t have a choice,” Alex said about the Teacher. “[He] knew things about us. Bad stuff. Held it over our heads. Even the others. He kept a long line of pretty boys to do his bidding.”

We’re predicting Colter will visit The Farm after his chat with Alex in the last episode.

Brent Sexton returns as retired cop Keaton to help Colter crack the case.

With the help of Keaton, it sounds like Colter is willing to take the risk to find out if Gina is still alive.

A New Side of Colter

During a September 2024 interview with TV Insider, Justin shared that filming season 2 was a little bit different than the show’s first season.

“The fights certainly are more physical but I don’t mind a bruise here so I just trying to keep my body healthy,” the This Is Us alum told the outlet.

Longevity

Justin also expressed optimism that the show will continue for years to come, saying,” I think the show works in the long run in that we have adopted this idea that although we are a Rockford Files [type show], we do develop the character going forward.”
