Vanna White Hopes to Help ‘Wheel of Fortune’ Costar Ryan Seacrest Find His ‘Perfect Match’

Vanna White and Ryan Seacrest have become close filming Wheel of Fortune together, and a source says she’s keeping an eye out for eligible girlfriends he may like to date!

“She finds it very hard to believe that he’s single still. He’s handsome, he’s sweet and thoughtful, not to mention totally loaded. It boggles her mind that he can’t seem to meet someone he wants to be with,” an insider exclusively tells Closer. “She’s convinced that Ryan is getting in his own way by picking women that aren’t right for him. She says if he just trusts her and lets her set him up that she’ll be able to find him the perfect match.”

Ryan, who turned 50 in December 2024, has been keeping himself busy hosting American Idol and his radio show among his Wheel of Fortune hosting duties. The entertainment mogul first stepped into the game show role in September 2024 after Pat Sajak departed the program.

Many fans have wondered if Ryan is looking for love amid his jam-packed work schedule.

“Ryan works so much these days that he hardly has time to get out and meet people, and he says he’s not a fan of the online thing, so he actually does need some help,” the source adds. “And he adores Vanna and doesn’t think she’d steer him wrong, so he’s agreed to go along with this, as long as she shows him some pictures first; he’s not going to blindly agree to a date.”

Ryan’s last public relationship with model Aubrey Paige Petcosky ended in a shocking split in April 2024. The pair dated for three years before calling it quits. While much of their relationship was kept under wraps, Aubrey, 27, did attend Ryan’s final episode of Live With Kelly and Ryan in April 2023.

While dating Aubrey, the former talk show host opened up about hoping to have children in the future.

“I start thinking about blocking off certain times in my month or year or week to focus on my personal life,” Ryan said during a December 2021 interview with WSJ Magazine. “I do want to have kids. But I haven’t even gone down that path, which is nuts at my age. I think in the last year, it’s become clear to me that yes, I do want to do that … I want to be available and present.”

In the same interview, Ryan confessed that his mom, Connie Seacrest, had “given up” on him having kids.

Ryan also previously dished on his desire to start a family during an October 2020 episode of his radio show.

“It was weird because Halloween changed me,” Ryan said. “I said a few weeks ago, ‘I’m not so into it,’ and then I saw some of my friends’ kids get excited about it. Then I see my niece, and she’s so beautiful. … If you asked me when I was 40 a few years ago, ‘Do you want kids?’ [I’d say], ‘I don’t know’ — and now, all of a sudden, all I can think about is, ‘Wow, how do I do that? I’m getting older. What are the options?’”
