Ginger Zee Is Back in the Gym During Maternity Leave — See the Video!
You go, girl! Meteorologist Ginger Zee gave birth to her second baby, a son named Miles, in mid-February, and now, many fans are wondering when she is coming back to Good Morning America.
While we don't know quite know the exact date she will return, we do know the 37-year-old is back in the gym already, nearly two months into her maternity leave. "We are BACK! Cleared by the doc to workout & ready to get back to fighting shape ?," she captioned a video of herself doing ladder runs, squats with weights, medicine ball lifts, planks, and more. Impressive!
Ginger previously welcomed Miles on Feb. 9 with her husband, of thee years, Ben Aaron. The duo is also parents to another adorable son, Adrian, 2, whom they welcomed on Dec. 18, 2015.
Back when Ginger gave birth to Adrian, she was absent from GMA until March 7, 2016, which was about two and a half months after she welcomed her son. If she follows that pattern this time around, we can expect to see Ginger back on the talk show some time in late April or early May.
Since becoming a mom-of-two, though, Ginger has appeared on the show — just from the comforts of her own home! The TV personality's newborn made his debut on GMA alongside his mom, dad, and brother, on Feb. 20, just 11 days after he was born.
At the time, Ginger gushed about life with her new bundle of joy. "Even more than Adrian ever was, he is so chill. He is a baby that hangs out, looks around, he’s very alert, very cool," Ginger confessed. "It was just as everybody said. The minute he came out, I was crazy about him and now I'm just as crazy about him."
It was great to see Ginger on the show that day even if it was just for a few minutes — and we can't wait to see her back on GMA very soon (with a few more guest appearances from Adrian and Miles, of course).
