Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines are always renovating homes, so it’s no surprise their own abode is more gorgeous than anything you’ve seen on HGTV. The former Fixer Upper stars live in a stunning Victorian-style residence in Crawford, Texas, which is a suburb of Waco.

Chip and Joanna purchased the 1,700-square-foot property in 2012. They settled into their new digs in October 2013 after renovations. The dwelling sits on over 40 acres of land.

Before they made the house their dream home, the property only featured two bedrooms. However, Chip and Jo’s brilliant renovation made their home big enough for their five kids, Drake, Ella Rose, Duke, Emmie Kay and Crew. The abode also has three bathrooms, a country-style kitchen, various sitting rooms, a craft room and more.

The renovation gurus’ property features tons of open land. They have chicken coops, farms, gardens, a greenhouse and more.

Lovely Decor

Jo and Chip’s enviable farmhouse boasts white walls, vaulted ceilings and ornate decor. The duo’s living room, which features white couches, wooden tables and a blue-patterned rug, leads into the kitchen.

Incredible Job

In February 2021, Joanna unveiled their new living room after undergoing a renovation. The updated space features a brick fireplace, white couches and a wooden coffee table. “I would say this is our new favorite room in the house,” she gushed in a YouTube video while showing off the dwelling.

Feels Like Home

The spruced-up living space also includes their “old bookcase” that they refurbished and built into the wall.

Jo revealed they also gave a fresh update to the kitchen by painting the cabinets a dark green. Wow!

In addition to the green cabinets, the kitchen boasts a rectangular marble island, bar stools, plenty of countertops and stainless steel appliances.

The twosome’s master bedroom is fitted with a king-sized bed, a black chandelier and a walk-in closet.

Crews’ Creation

Just like his talented parents, Crew is adding his own design accents to the home. The toddler made his own dinosaur statue. “I’m going to glue it together and keep it in my office forever,” Joanna wrote on Instagram in December 2021.

Cozy Nook

Right next to the white staircase in the home is a cozy nook where Joanna likes to sit with the kids. The comfy brown sofa chair matches perfectly with the wood floors. Old records and books are piled on the vintage side table.

Perfect Place to Party

The dining area was decked out in dinosaur-themed decorations for Crews’ 3rd birthday in 2021. A dinosaur banner was tied to the simple light fixture that sits above the dining room table.

It’s All In the Details

Each part of Chip and Joanna’s home is perfectly decorated to reflect their own design tastes. On the opposite side of the couch is a wooden bench that matches a small table and chairs near the window.

Gorgeous Garden

Crew is always helping his mom out in the beautiful garden. The youngster has been featured in several of Joanna’s Instagram videos watering the plants in wooden pots outside of the front door or picking flowers.

Joanna has a green thumb, also decorating the interior of her home with some beautiful plants. She showed off her “beauties in bloom” in a cute Instagram video.
