White House Draws 5,000 Trick-or-Treaters For Halloween Bash
The White House lawn was bustling yesterday for the annual Halloween party which brought out around 5,000 trick-or-treaters to participate in the fun!
The yearly event is held for military families and D.C.-area schools, and this year’s party included a bunch of spooky decorations, crazy costumes, and even a skeleton band!

Michelle Obama looked festive in an orange and black color-blocked top and bright orange pants while the president wore a black sweater with an orange shirt underneath.

The duo handed out bags of treats which included M&M’s, jelly beans, Reese’s, iced cookies baked by the White House staff and, because the first lady is all about nutrition, a package of dried fruit!
Though the first dogs weren’t in attendance, they were there in spirit…and as figurines! The statue of Bo was dressed up as a pirate while 1-year-old Sunny was decked out as a sunflower. And the figurines had no problem posing for pictures with the visiting children!
