GMA’s Will Reeve Says He’s the ‘Luckiest Guy in the World’ After Getting Engaged to Amanda Dubin

Congratulations are in order for Good Morning America’s Will Reeve, who proposed to girlfriend Amanda Dubin, on November 8.

“We are elated. Couldn’t be happier,” Will, 32, said on GMA on Monday, November 11.

“I had a whole plan. It went to perfection and now we just get to enjoy being engaged, planning a wedding,” he gushed. “I’m the luckiest guy in the world. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown.”

Amanda, 28, shared photos from their dreamy proposal on her Instagram page. “Us 🤍,” she simply captioned the gorgeous set of pictures. The room was decked out in flowers and had a live musician playing as Will got down on one knee. Other pictures showed the couple being greeted by their friends and family after getting engaged in the private event space.

The post was met with so many messages of support from friends, family members and fans alike on social media.

“Oh my gosh this makes me SO happy!! Congratulations you two beautiful souls!!!” ABC News correspondent Gio Benitez wrote in a comment underneath the post.

“GO WILL. YAY AMANDA!! We are sooo happy for you both !!!” GMA’s Lara Spencer added.

Sam Champion commented with a heart emoji, while GMA’s Rebecca Jarvis wrote, “Soooooo happy for you two!!!!!!!”

The couple dated for two years before Will got down on one knee in the romantic proposal.

“Wonderful! Congratulations to the both of you!” director James Gunn wrote under the post, while Jerry O’Connell wrote, “CONGRATS YOU TWO!!!”

The son of late actor Christopher Reeve and late actress Dana Reeve is thrilled to start this next chapter of his life with his fiancée.

“Friday was the happiest night of our lives and we can’t wait to spend forever together,” he told People after the proposal.

Will first posted a photo on his Instagram account with Amanda in April 2023, standing in front of the Eiffel Tower.

“Paris is for birthdays. The happiest to @amandadubin,” he captioned the post.

“Beautiful!! Enjoy!! You deserve nothing but complete happiness,” one person commented underneath the post at the time.

“Awwww you guys are so cute! You deserve every happiness Will!” another said.

He also made a rare comment about finding love during a January segment on GMA. “If I can speak personally, it will happen when you least expect it. And you’ll be the happiest you’ll ever be,” he told his cohosts.

“I thought he was going to get down on one knee or something,” cohost Linsey Davis joked to her colleagues. When asked if he was trying to tell his cohosts something, Will responded, “No. No, just happy. Just happy. I love life.”

It’s been a big year for Will, who revealed that he would be making a cameo in the upcoming Superman film. While he couldn’t give too much away about his performance just yet, he did say that he would not consider acting full time.

“I don’t know. I like my job as correspondent at ABC News,” he told People in September. “I think I like, maybe, performing, but I don’t know if I’m any good at acting.”
