Will Smith Gushes His Mother-In-Law Adrienne Banfield-Jones, 65, Looks Like She Could Be His Kids’ Sister
Actor Will Smith‘s mother-in-law, Adrienne Banfield-Jones, looks seriously incredible at age 65! The iRobot star took to Instagram on Saturday, Dec. 8 to show off how amazing Adrienne looks. He shared a black-and-white photo of Adrienne hugging her grandkids Jaden Smith, 20, and Willow Smith, 18 and captioned the pic, “When your grandmother looks like your sister.” Awww!
The lovely photo Will, 50, shared wasn’t the first time that someone in his family has gushed about Adrienne’s ageless look. In late September, Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith, 47, posted a photo on Instagram of her mom and her daughter, Willow, flaunting their abs. “That three generational thing,” she wrote in the caption.

Jada followed her fitness post with a separate video of Adrienne working out in the gym. “Why is Gam Gam putting me to shame???” she wrote about her mom’s incredible physique — and fans totally agreed that Adrienne’s body is quite amazing. “Grandma goals fo sho,” one fan commented on Instagram and another wrote, “I’m a need Gam as my trainer because… yeah!”
Jada features her mom and her daughter, Willow, on her Facebook Live series, Red Table Talk. The show has quickly made Adrienne into a celebrity overnight and while she, Jada, and Willow recently graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar‘s digital December issue, Adrienne said that it took her family some time to get used to her newfound fame.
“They’re not used to me in this world, so it’s been an adjustment for my family,” the doting grandmother shared. “There’s still that group that kind of looks at you like, ‘Oh, that’s Jada’s mom!’ — I’ve been going through that for years, so it’s all good.”
Jada admitted that she was so proud of her mother’s success too because she’s breaking barriers. “I’m in my late 40’s. This is time that they send you out to pasture,” Jada explained. “Don’t let people tell you that you’re too old. That it’s over, ’cause that’s a lie.”
Willow added, “I just am so happy! Go, Gam! She’s just giving it. I just love seeing her explore that side of herself. You’re so beautiful. It’s inspiring to see you really shine!”
