ExclusiveMarie Osmond Dishes Whether She’d Ever Go Blonde: ‘If My Hair Gets Really, Really Gray!’
We all know Marie Osmond loves experimenting with her style and beauty, but the iconic singer isn’t quite sure if she’s ready to give up her signature brunette tresses. While chatting with Closer Weekly in an exclusive interview, the “Paper Roses” songstress dished whether or not she’d ever dye her long hair blonde.
“If my hair gets really, really gray and I can’t dye it black anymore, I’ll go blonde!” the 60-year-old beauty hilariously shared with Closer. Although Marie has been changing up her hairstyles with different wigs over the past few years, The Talk host revealed that her trend actually first began in an effort to avoid paparazzi while spending time out with her children.
“My kids really like it and initially, I did it, just so we can have our private time,” she explained of her big brood of eight kiddos and her friends. “Because I’m not going to be rude if someone comes up for an autograph, but I notice that they now don’t — well, now that I posted it, they know that I’m blonde — so I have a red-headed one now, it’s really good.”
Although it doesn’t seem like Marie is planning to dye her hair permanently, the Dancing With the Stars alum said that she might start switching up her hairstyles with wigs while cohosting the CBS daytime talk show. “I have been thinking about wearing some of those wigs — I have a whole bunch — on The Talk,” she revealed.
“One of my favorite ones, and I’ll have to post it sometime, but it looks like My Little Pony — it has all the colors in it, it’s blonde with all these colors,” she detailed. “I mean, I may wear it on The Talk. I might, I might not. I don’t know!”
Whether she’s wearing her luscious brown locks down over her shoulders or tied up in a ponytail, there’s no doubt Marie looks incredible for each day of The Talk. In a recent Instagram post, The Key Is Love author gushed about having the opportunity to work with her makeup artist daughter, Brianna.
“Shout-out to the most fabulous #HairAndMakeUpteam I could ever ask for … I love being with my daughter Brianna Schwep, who blesses me every day by doing my makeup,” the proud mama wrote on social media in late September. “And I am so grateful to have @angelacstylesdreaming up my amazing hair-do’s each day at #TheTalk!!!” Along with her praise, Marie posted the sweetest photo of her and the hair and makeup “dream team.”
We hope Marie starts showing off her collection of wigs on The Talk sooner rather than later!
