'X-Men' Director Bryan Singer Welcomes Baby

Congratulations are in order for Bryan Singer and Michelle Clunie!

The X-Men director, 49, and the 45-year-old actress welcomed their first baby together, a son named Dashiell Julius William Clunie-Singer.

"Michelle Clunie and I would like to welcome our beautiful son Dashiell Julius William Clunie~Singer into the world :)" Bryan announced on Twitter on Monday, Jan. 5 with a photo of the new parents holding their little bundle of joy.

Although Bryan and Michelle are not a couple, the pair have been close friends for the past 25 years. In October 2014, they released a joint statement announcing they were expecting a baby together.

"Mother and father are both very excited about the upcoming birth and look forward to co-parenting the child together," they said in a statement to 'The Hollywood Reporter.' "The pair have been planning this baby for years and have been trying for the last two."
