Just days after Billy Joel‘s wife, Alexis Roderick, gave birth to their first child, the happy couple have shared the first photo of their newborn daughter!
In the sweet snapshot, baby Della Rose Joel — who has a full head of cute brown hair! — can be seen smiling while cuddled in her 33-year-old mom’s arms.

Billy, 66, and Alexis welcomed their daughter on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 2:40 a.m. in NYC. Little Della Rose weighed in at 7 pounds, 6.5 ounces. She is the first child for Alexis and the second for the “Uptown Girl” singer, who has an older daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, 29, from his previous marriage to Christie Brinkley, 61.
The couple — who married in a secret wedding in early July — previously announced they were expecting in April.
