Congrats!Billy Joel and His Wife Alexis Roderick Are Expecting Baby No. 2

There’s another little one on the way for Billy Joel and his wife, Alexis Roderick! The 68-year-old singer confirmed to the Belfast Telegraph on Wednesday, Oct. 18 that Alexis, 35, is currently eight months pregnant with the couple’s second child.

“We are due next month,” Billy confessed to the publication. The “Uptown Girl” rocker and Alexis — who tied the knot in July 2015 — are already parents to a two-year-old daughter, Della Rose Joel, who was born in August 2015. Billy is additionally a father to a 31-year-old daughter, Alexa Ray Joel, from his previous marriage to Christie Brinkley. During his sit-down with the Belfast Telegraph, Billy adorably spoke out about his toddler daughter. “This one is good. She sleeps through the night. I hope the next one will,” he said, adding Della’s favorite TV shows are Peppa Pig and PAW Patrol. “[Right now], she is out all day long. So, she is not really watching a lot of TV. I’m sure she will soon enough!” he added.

The musician also recently opened up about becoming a dad again later in life during an appearance on Harry Connick Jr.’s daytime talk show, Harry. “[Della] comes in every morning and throws my shorts on the bed and says ‘Get out of bed, Daddy,'” he shared, adding he and his wife, Alexis — an equestrian and former Morgan Stanley executive — already think Della may have a future career as a singer since she can already belt out tunes in key.

Billy has also gushed about finding love again with his fourth wife, Alexis. “You can have all the money in the world, you can have mansions, you can have properties, you can have yachts, you can have limousines, you can have motorcycles, [but if you don’t have love], it doesn’t mean a goddamn thing,” he said in a previous interview. We’re so happy that Billy and Alexis are expanding their family and can’t wait to meet their new little one next month!
