Kelly Ripa seemingly gave fans a major hint she’s chosen BFF Anderson Cooper to be her new Live! co-host in the wake of Michael Strahan‘s upcoming exit from the daytime talk show.

On the morning of Tuesday, April 26 — just hours before Kelly, 45, returned to Live! for the first time since Michael, 44, revealed he is leaving the program — the TV star was spotted walking around NYC while holding Anderson’s new book, The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son On Life, Love, and Loss.
Rumors first surfaced late last week that Anderson may join the hit series. Neil Patrick Harris is also reportedly in talks to star alongside Kelly. Michael previously announced his departure from Live! on Tuesday, April 19.
