HGTV Star Nicole Curtis Opens Up About Her Very Private Second Pregnancy - Closer Weekly

Since announcing her second pregnancy in July 2015, Nicole Curtis has been extremely private about welcoming Baby No. 2 — until now!

In a new interview, the 40-year-old HGTV star admitted she didn’t originally plan on hiding her now 16-month-old son, Harper, from the public but later decided maintaining her little boy’s anonymity was very important to her.

“It wasn’t anything strategic, it was just one of those moments where I was like this isn’t anyone else’s time and space, this is mine,” she told People. “Having my newborn child’s face plastered all over social media on a Facebook post where someone could cut and paste it and make it a meme, that wasn’t for me.”

The Rehab Addict host previously announced she was expecting her second child in summer 2015 with a cheeky Facebook photo of her baby bump. Following that post, Nicole — who is also a mom to an 18-year-old son, Ethan — failed to give fans any subsequent updates on her pregnancy, never confirmed she’d given birth and hasn’t shared any photos of Harper.
